I miss seeing you
every day, with your elderly friends huddled around you in a coven-like
respectful embrace, gossiping about your family life and the current events. It
was my morning news. We never spoke to one another, or even so much as nodded
in acknowledgement, but there was still, nevertheless, a mutual feeling of
presence we shared between us regulars. I wonder if you have since been to
another class, or if youÕve gotten used to your quarantine flow. Hopefully IÕll
see you again soon, doing sun salutations in the shade, overlooking the bluff,
keeping skin cancer at bay.
