Five Haiku

briny water hands

rise swollen, reach, climb, grasp, fall

ocean hi-fives sand

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
appear—disappear
misty lake doors open—shut
the fish know secrets
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

thunder booms echo

shock wave mid-air explosions

a planet shudders

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
grass whipped, bent, straightened
wind rolls over the meadow
chases unseen foe
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

one thought pings one strand

all humanity reacts

hu-mind spider web

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
