Yes I Have A Smile On My Face

Yes I have a smile on my face

You know it's there for you

Not because you look funny

But honestly this is new

I have never felt quite this way

About anyone at all

Other folk have been

Sometimes petty and small

But you have a smile all the time

Or else a big old grin

And arms which seem to say to me

Come on boy step right in

You have a fantastic smile which you share

To and with me whenever I am there

Holy Dear

Holy dear? Cow?  I finally believe

It's important that you see

This new man in your  life and you've conceived

My perspective to claim him

Yes, you're right,  he's better than me

In every single respect that can be

Why, even in  respect itself

This man's an angel opposing hell

He's kind,  considerate, and thoroughly versed

In history, mathematics and of course

He can speak with equal eloquence and grace

On traveled places and each sensitive face

This man is a  symmetrical mixture between

Abraham Lincoln and Ellery Queen

With one meeting I can tell you certainly were right

He's good looking, well dressed and ever so bright

With personality, his build right up to the hilt

A perfect specimen of heath and good will

Is surely beloved in the depths of my mind

This man of yours is just one of kind

When they made him, they sure broke the mold

His mind clear as diamonds, his heart cast as gold

By comparison it's plain even for me to see

That I'm but a snake, some dust and a thief

Oh, yes, my dear, your  propaganda convinced me

There's nothing for me to do now but wince

But one more thing, I  tell you quite true

He is better than me but too good for you.
